Wanda M. Johnson, was appointed to the Redding House Foundation’s Board of Directors, effective January 10, 2017. The Redding House Foundation, Inc. a Delaware non-profit corporation established to preserve the Louis L. Redding’s house as a museum and community center. See their Facebook page here.

As you may recall, Attorney Louis L. Redding was the first African American attorney admitted to the Delaware Bar and also was one of the attorneys that argued the Brown v. Board of Education cases along with Justice Thurgood Marshall before the United States Supreme Court.   The Brown decision, destroyed the “separate but equal” discrimination doctrine.

We are so proud that our President/CEO, Wanda M. Johnson is able to serve an organization that is committed to preserving Attorney Louis Redding’s outstanding legacy through his museum and community center located in her hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.
