CHICAGO – Silver Cross Hospital, based in New Lenox, Illinois, violated federal law when it failed to provide a reasonable accommodation to an employee who requested to be exempt from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine because of her religious beliefs, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.
