FRESNO, Calif. – The Tulare City School District settled a federal charge of national origin discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for $45,000 and other injunctive relief, the federal agency announced today.According to the EEOC, the Tulare City School District failed to promote an employee to the position of principal because of his Hispanic national origin, regardless of his qualifications and ability to do the job.
