LOUIS — Washington University, a private research university in St. Louis, violated federal law when it fired an employee in retaliation for her opposition to race discrimination and filing a discrimination charge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency alleged in a lawsuit announced today.
